I am a sahm, that was encouraged to sell my gifts I made for others online.  I have started doing that recently.  I enjoy making things for others that bring peace, happiness and balance in their lives.  This also helps to supplement the income when I am unemployed as I currently am.


Check out my other sites, since I often post specials that are not posted elsewhere!  I get inspired by everything.  I can read a book and the pattern on the cover will inspire me.  Sometimes a need for organization will inspire an item in my store that I consider organizational or decorative.  Sometimes it's something as simple as the uniqueness of a flower hair accessory.  A good example of the flower itself as inspiration would be the hot pink and white lotus flower hair accessory.  We saw the bunched flowers together and fell in love.

I also do other things, and love bibs and burp cloths that coordinate for outings!   I love how it makes the baby appear purposely dressed to match without being overly done, if you know what I mean.  So, a lot of the baby items were simply something I wished I had when my children were younger.

I found my love for crafts when I was young because my mother used to do crafts, she used to 
do all kinds of stuff from floral arrangements to knitting and creating hair accessories. But what brought me to start making my own jewelry is that I love to wear jewelry myself and with 
this economy I decided to give myself a try and do my own jewelry. 


At some point my husband encouraged me to start selling my jewelry but I wasn't sure about it until I saw an ad for a jewelry contest which I decided to participate in to give myself more confidence about my skills as a jewelry artist. Later after January 2011 I finally decided to open an Etsy store and try my luck and that's how my shop BonibluJewelry was born!

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere! Bodycare Luxuries {& Giveaway}

I just received a handmade soap sampler set from Bodycare Luxuries and I have to tell you, I'm loving her soap!

The soap is made from all natural ingredients and contains no parabens, no SLS or harsh chemicals - which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!  AND they're all handmade with love =).

This is the sampler set I got:

Rose

Green Apple

Oatmeal, Milk & Honey

Lavender

Eucalyptus & Peppermint

Almond Milk

It came nicely packaged in a padded envelope with very cute, professional looking wrapping.  I'm happy to say that considering it came all the way from the UK, it arrived perfectly.  No cracks and all the pieces came as they were supposed to.

You could even smell the scents from outside the envelopes.  

I was pleasantly surprised as the smell was not overly strong - definitely a good thing.

They also came with a little tag that includes all the ingredients, which is perfect for people with allergies.

I also love that they all came labelled so I knew exactly which ones were which.

All the soaps smelled quite good and the scent was not strong or overpowering or perfume-like, which I really liked.  I don't know about you, but I hate smells that are overly strong or overpowering, so these soaps were PERFECT for me!  They were also very natural smelling.

Green Apple - there was a light, pleasant smell, but it was packaged next to the almond milk, which I think diluted the green apple smell, because it didn't quite smell like apple but more like Almond =)

Oatmeal Milk & Honey - this was a light, pleasant Milk and Honey smelling soap

Rose - a very pleasant, light, rose smell - I think this one was my favorite.  It really smelled like roses and you can see little bits of them in the soap

Lavender - this was also a light, pleasant lavender smell.

Eucalyptus & Peppermint - this one smelled the strongest, but was not overpowering.  It had a nice, refreshing minty smell

Almond Milk - this one was very close to non-scented, but had a nice almond scent to it

Actual Use TEST

The soap was a pleasant surprise!

It lathered very quickly and felt good - I didn't expect this since most soaps without SLS do not lather very well.  That was GREAT!

There was no residue on my skin and it was non-drying

After drying, my skin felt moisturized and had a light, pleasant smell

I think these would make the perfect gift for someone who has everything already!  The scents were pleasant, light and the soaps lathered quickly and left my skin moisturized.  It was wonderful!  Plus, it's from the UK!  How cool is that?!

I recently received these adorable little skull earrings!  If you don't know already, I love cute little skulls and these were right up my alley!  

I think these would make a fun gift for a young girl or someone who's young at heart (like me!) and the great thing is that they're inexpensive at $12 a pair!

They are handmade - and well done at that!  She has a great attention to detail, which I really appreciate!

I love the cute little packaging!  They came in an envelope and was wrapped in purple tissue with a leather-like little tie!  CUTE!

And came on a cute little card!  =)  I love how the skulls face each other!  I hate it when pairs are exactly the same and not mirror images of each other.  I guess that's just one of my pet-peeves.

Here's me wearing mine!  I love it!  Fun and subtle at the same time!

They are made of thick shrinky dink plastic and are very sturdy.  I love Faheema's attention to detail!  No sharp edges, no whites outside the lines, no excess glue!
