Letter Kay Hand carved Stamp Giveaway! ends 9/11

It's my pleasure to introduce you to a shop you may not have taken a look at otherwise!  This is a great shop that includes hand carved custom stamps and vintage finds.

Kayla, please tell us a little bit about yourself and your adorable shop!

Letter Kay was opened August 6, 2010.  I've been running my shop around a year now and I love it more and more each day.  Never did I think that my stamps and other items would be as popular as they are!  I started my shop as a way to make a bit of extra money.  I love making things, always have in fact. Since opening my shop, my goals have changed a bit.  I am now working on expanding Letter Kay.  I hope to open a shop in a year or two as well as offer private art lessons and art parties.

One thing that I like to think about is giving new life to old items.  Going to estate sales, flea markets, etc. you come across a lot of abandoned items.  Some even get thrown away if they are not sold.  I love giving them a new home.  Items were much more beautiful in times past and I think they make great home decor.  For my stamps, I like to think about my customers.  What would be useful to them?  I think it is important to make letters, packages and other tiems pretty and these little stamps help that a little bit I think.  I think my favorite item in my shop would be my wedding rings stamp.  I'm not sure why I like it so much, but I do.  It is a hard decision for me to decide my favorite as I am continually getting "new" vintage items that are special in their own way.
