Bonita Bellita Giveaway!

It's my pleasure to bring you another great shop!  Stephanie from Bonita Bellita!  She's got a wide range of beautiful accessories - for your hair and your ears!!!  I love all the pretty sparklies!!!

My name is Stephanie, an artist born, raised, and living in Southern California. I am the driving force behind Bonita Bellita. I believe that there are beautiful things in this world and I take delight in knowing that I contribute to making them and sharing that bit of romance with others.

Elegant Peacock Feathers and sparkling gemstone- bride or formal hair accessory

The name Bonita Bellita comes from several inspirations. The first is the word "bonita" means beautiful in Spanish. I grew up speaking English but I have strong Mexican-American roots, and I couldn't deny putting those in my shop name. The second word is "bellita" means little beauty in Latin. It's also an homage to my daughter Isabella. Lastly, the fact that the words are both "b" words pays respect to my mother, Bea. She has always been supportive of me. I want my label to have heritage of love.

Jade Earrings - Jade in Brass - Estate Jewelry

For as long as I can remember I've always been busy with my hands, although originally my favorite materials were watercolor paints and ink. Somehow that turned into fabrics, beautiful sheer crepons and soft flowing chiffons and shimmering satins. Let's not forget about the vintage buttons and rhinestones I like to use for centerpieces! Eventually that laid way to working with jewelry as well. I taught myself how to set stones and now make earrings that sparkle. Did I mention peacock earrings are usually in stock too? I'm proud of my work and the variety you can find.

Butterfly Bobby Pins - Autumn set of four for whimsical weddings, bridesmaids, and free spirits

A couple years ago I opened Bonita Bellita on Etsy while working at a part time job in retail. I became more and more dissatisfied with working under another company's rules and my flowers began selling online. One month before the crazy holiday rush started, I just said "enough" and put my two weeks notice in. There was no turning back, and my adventure was only starting.

Rust Chiffon Ruffle Wreath Shabby Chic - featured on the Gift Insider - as seen on TV

I never dreamed that when I started this all I would be making bridal pieces for weddings in Australia or Europe, but I've done exactly that. It's such a privilege to know my own time and effort have been part of someone's special moment, making it even more beautiful. It has all been worth it.

Hello lovelies! My name is Samantha and I’m from New York City I recently started making bracelets simply because I always searched for the perfect bracelets to pair together but could never find them.

When people would see me wearing my own bracelets, I would always get questioned “ Where is that from?” or “Can we get a bracelet?” But after I discovered etsy I wanted to share all my bracelets with everyone else!

I love wearing beaded bracelets, especially gemstones and I love having more than one on my arm at all times! Gemstones, have to be my favorite beads and I enjoy working with them, and I would love to
make any type of bracelet that anyone requests me to make.

Pairing up my bracelets makes great arm candy and help accessorize. I’m always looking for inspiration, and always trying out new types of bracelet patterns, different beads, or styles.

Wristed Candy

I found a great new shop to share with you!

Wristed Candy is a new shop on etsy that mostly sells beautiful bracelets and a few other trinkets.

Wristed Candy bracelets are made with Czech glass beads!  The way the faceted beads reflect the light is sooooo pretty!  Mine came with a pretty white organza bag...

I love the aurora borealis effect of the stones with the blue color - it's soooo pretty!  I love the combo of gold and blue!  I also LOVE how detailed the skull is!

The blue is paired with a gold colored skull - sooo beautiful together!  The beads are a good size, too!  Not too small and not too big!  Bracelet is stretchy, so sure to fit most wrists =)

I've got a very cool bracelet shop to show you!  ArmPartyLB has got a small but cute selection of bracelets!

I recently got the Black and Gold Beaded Skulls bracelet that sells for $30 in the shop

Came in a pretty pink organza type bag and was shipped quite quickly

Here's a close-up of the bracelet.  Faceted jet black beads, and gold skulls ....

love the heart detail - softens the overall effect

I love the gold and black color combination and it gives the bracelet a little retro feel.  I really love that the skulls go all the way around the bracelet and the fact that they're almost the same size as the beads.  From far away, you can't tell they're skulls =)

Ayami Hiroshige Giveaway $25 Gift Certificate! ends 6/10

It's my pleasure to bring you a giveaway from Ayami Hiroshige Jewelry Designs!

I grew up going to kid's art classes offered by my local Armory for the Arts - I really enjoyed making jewelry.  We used recycled items like bits of newspaper and made paper beads, and learned how to use jewelry findings and made necklaces, earrings and bracelets.  When I was going to community college, I took a jewelry making class and learned how to work with silver and made jewelry from moulds!  My mother always had jewelry making items around, so I would occasionally put together pieces on a whim.

I decided to start seriously making and selling my jewelry since my addiction to accessories is strong, I had to share my love and passion with others.

I am inspired by skulls, crosses, hearts, love and things that sparkle.  My motto is:  NEVER enough bling!  My parents are from Hawaii, so sometimes tropical colors or hints of the ocean creep into my pieces.  If You've noticed, some of the names of my jewelry are inspired by Hawaiian words ;)

Ayami has great stuff!  I love all the items in her shop sooo much!
It's got the perfect amount of bling!
Stack her bracelets for even MORE bling!

Expressions Bracelets

I've got another great shop find to share with you!

Expressions Bracelets has got a HUGE and gorgeous selection of stack elastic stretch gemstone bracelets!  I got this 'so-up-my-alley' chic lava bead with skull charm bracelet!

Came in a beautiful velvet black pouch with care care instructions

Here's a close-up of the charm and the crystal dragon ball.  Isn't it pretty?  I love the contrast of the sparkly skull and ball with the organic nature of the lava beads.

I couldn't decide which way to wear the charm, so I included a picture of both ways!  Either way, looks awesome!

It also came with a care card - which I love!  Advises against all the things you would normally do, which is great - don't we all want our things to last longer?

the beads are large and chunky!  I love it!  Here's how it looks from farther away - isn't it just the perfect combination of bling and organic?

Astrophe

FATHER'S DAY GIFT ALERT!

I found the coolest store...well, I should say stores!  It's got a little something for everyone!

Do you always have trouble finding a quirky friend or relative the perfect gift?!  Have I got the places for you!!!

I stumbled upon Astrophe on etsy and found out that Kat, the crafter behind it all, has got three other stores, too!  More about that, later!  But keep reading if you're a Harry Potter Fan or know someone who is!

Look what I found from Astrophe!
Wouldn't this be PERFECT for a little boy (or not so little) who LOVES DINOSAURS?!    It's a T-Rex skull keychain!  I thought this was so unique!  Perfect gift for the dinosaur-loving dad?

It comes in a wonderful little pouch

Here's a close-up.  It's made from plastic and is very realistic.  Great for kids (well, it IS made from a children's toy), since there are no sharp edges.  I think this would look great on a special little man's backpack!

Here's the top view where the key chain is attached.  Very secure!  Wouldn't this look adorable attached to your child's backpack?  Or on your favorite guy's keys?

At $6, this is a great find and would be perfect for a child's graduation gift (end of school is almost upon us!) or just a little something to let them know you're thinking of them!  Kat's also got other dinos, too!  And not just keychains!  Check out her dino selection!

For the Harry Potter fan
What's better than Harry Potter inspired jewelry?!

I thought this Malfoy snake necklace was creative and cool!
Very Harry Potter, but very subtle about it, too!

For people who love bones and fur or really unusual, eye catching items

For people who love buttons!
